HEIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Despite aiming its attractions at the age range of 2-12 years old, LEGOLAND still offers some rides with height requirements. A few of the attractions have two posted height requirements: a minimal height to ride alone (with no chaperone), and a minimal height to ride if someone who meets the taller requirement is also present. Note that a few attractions state that the "taller" person must be an adult. Here are the attractions with restrictions, listed by minimum height requirement:
34 Inches
- Boating School – 34" to ride; 48" to ride alone
- Safari Trek – 34" to ride; 48" to ride alone
- Lost Kingdom Adventure – 34" to ride; 42" to ride alone
- Rescue Academy – 34" to ride; 48" to ride alone
36 Inches
- Technicycle – 36" to ride; 42" to ride alone
- Coastersaurus – 36" to ride; 48" to ride alone. An adult must be present for any riders under 48"
- Beetle Bounce – 36" to ride
- Granny’s Jalopies – 36" to ride; 48" to ride alone
- Big Bad Rally – 36" to ride; 48" to ride alone
- Junior Fire Academy – 36" to ride
- Royal Joust – 36" to ride (must ride solo)
- Merlin’s Challenge – 36" to ride; 48" to ride alone
40 Inches
- Kid Power Towers – 40" to ride; 48" to ride alone
- AQUAZONE Wave Racers – 40" to ride; 52" to ride alone
- The Dragon – 40" to ride; 48" to ride alone. An adult must be present for any riders under 48"
42 Inches
- Test Track – 42" to ride; 48" to ride alone. An adult must be present for any riders under 48"
44 Inches
- Flying School – 44" to ride; 52" to ride alone (maximum height: 6’5")
Special Conditions
- The Grand Carousel – no minimum with adult; 48" to ride alone
- Island in the Sky – no minimum with adult; 48" to ride alone
AGE REQUIREMENTS
The following attractions have maximum or minimum age requirements (possibly in addition to the height requirements listed above):
- Forestmen’s Hideout – ages 5-12 only (under age 7 must be accompanied by an adult)
- Test Track
- LEGO MINDSTORMS
- Safari Trek – under age 6 must be accompanied by an adult
- FORD Driving School – Ages 6-13 only
- FORD JR. Driving School – Ages 3-5 only
- Pharaoh’s Revenge – Ages 2-12 (recommended); uder age 5 must be accompanied by an adult
BABY CARE CENTER
Diaper changing stations are in all restrooms throughout the park (both men and women), but the Baby Care Center has even more facilities available, including a microwave, bottle warmers, high chairs, and nursing areas with rocking chairs.
STROLLERS
You may bring your own stroller to the park or rent one just inside the entrance. Rental strollers cost $9 (or $14 for the double stroller).
OUTSIDE FOOD/DRINK
As a general rule, no outside food or drink is allowed in LEGOLAND. An exception is made for infants (liquids, baby food … and, possibly, small snacks–but be careful of trying to stretch the definition of "small" or "snacks").
