Just six weeks after its official grand opening, LEGOLAND Florida released details of its first expansion – LEGOLAND Water Park. Scheduled to open in time for summer 2012, the water park will feature a wave pool, Build-A-Raft lazy river, tube slides, body slides and an interactive water-play structure – DUPLO® Safari.

A bit of good news coming from the former Cypress Gardens Adventure park front, the historic Starliner wooden roller coaster might have a buyer, and that buyer is in Panama City Beach along the Florida Panhandle, where the Starliner was first constructed. More at the Orlando Sentinel.
The Orlando Fun Spot locations don’t get a lot of respect even though they’re the area’s fourth largest attraction (when you add all the locations attendance together). That might change when the Kissimmee location adds a new coaster they just purchased from the former Cypress Gardens park.
